my left mouse does not work

All of a sudden my left mouse does not work correctly.  First the problem:  when I am in an application like Facebook or this web site...I am unable to left click on the top selections.  In FB I have on my left top 7 messages waiting and other stuff.  The only way I can select them is to shift tab backwards until the item highlights, then I have to hit enter.

I can add posts and anything else, just not select anything at the top like a subheader.  Same with this site or even GOOGLE...

I can type in the box, but not able to click on images or news ....Someone out there has to have this under control.

Already Tried:  Uninstalling the wireless keyboard and intellimouse and hooking up the wired on from new.

Tried to Go-Back...or whatever it is call, to a specific time..won't;t work.

Please, I look forward to some smart person who knows what I am going through.

Also tried the settings

 

 

NOTHING.....    :-(

Also, If I was to click two times it minimizes the page
