Hi! @mhedrick1, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand that you need to know how to bypass the startup cartridges.
Don't worry I would like to help.
Since you have not provided the model name or product number of the printer, it would be difficult for me to provide the steps.
Please provide the product name of your printer to assist you better.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Cheers! 🙂

Hello, @mhedrick1
Thanks for the update! I would like to jump in with a suggestion 🙂
Imp: Do not share serial number of your printer in the public forum. Please remove the serial number from your public post. Click on "edit message" and remove the serial number of your product.
Now, you can try performing a reset on the printer. I am sending a private message with instructions. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen to access your mailbox.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome.
Good luck 🙂
