When I click the windows icon at the bottom of the screen my installed apps no longer show up,the area is blank. I used to get my most used apps at the top and the rest in alphabetical order. I can't access my e-mail or any windows apps(notebook, office, etc) It worked fine before, all of a sudden nothing. It's windows 10. Any thoughts on what I might do to get the thing working again? Thanks for any help. I'm s not real computer literate but usually figure out instructions if they aren't too technical.

Did you accidently press the Task View Icon on the Task Bar. That would blank the screen icons.
Personally I like "Classic Shell".
It will mimic WIN 7 start menu, and also has an APPS pull-down.
