I bought my desktop on 15th August and just noticed that the online HP Customer Support shows most if not all the latest drivers are listed on 14th August.

My desktop is currently working superbly and I wonder if it's really necessary to update to the latest drivers as I remembered some experts advocate that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

So, should I or shouldn't I update the drivers?

Any IT expert advice is welcome. Thank you.

The driver date you're seeing on the HP website is probably erroneous.  That's the date the web page was last updated by HP, not the date the drivers were published.

To see the driver date, you have to click the details tab for each of the drivers.  You will then probably see a much OLDER actual release date for each driver.
