Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Are you trying to Upgrade using Windows Update? If so, that is the least reliable way and subject to the most problems.
A much better approach is to create Win10 install media from this link, insert that into your PC, run it -- and do the upgrade from there: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10
NOTE: do NOT boot from that media.
