- component keyboard test fail

I ran the component test for my keyboard from the boot menu and i did the keyboard test and it failed. I have used more than one keyboard and they both fail and i have to use the on screen keyboard. I got the fail id 60855R-8AU8K1-GXPT7F-G03R03. bplease help me with this issue so i may use my keyboard again!

Which USB port have you connected the keyboard connector to?

Try a different keyboard in the USB 2.0 port.
Use the Diagnostics to test your USB ports. If the USB port test passes, then that means that the keyboard controller on the motherboard has probably failed. That would translate to a failed motherboard since the keyboard controller is a chip integrated into the motherboard chipset.
