HP ENVY 700-414
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Under settings..privacy…feedback & diagnostics, I have it set for “feedback frequency = automatic and “send your data to Microsoft = full.

I also set up telemetry as enabled so that I can use the Microsoft “feedback hub” which now works.

But yet at the top of this setting section a message of “some settings are managed by your organization” which is NUTS!

I researched it all I can online but cannot come up with a solution.

Has anyone using windows pro had and resolved this issue?

Thanks for any help.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting some settings are managed by your organization error on your HP computer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Check who is the admin of this computer?
  • Is this a home PC or work computer?

Meanwhile:

Check for user account control.

Click here and follow the document to check UAC.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.

Thanks for your advise. As it turns out, the problem was caused by me installing a privacy program called o&oshutup. What seemed like a easy way to improve Windows 10 Pro security turned into a 5 day research nightmare. O&Oshutup interacts with the Windows policy editor (PRO) and / or the regestry adding factors that arent necessarly native to the windows environment. So when you try to reverse the changes, you cannot fully do so. In my case I needed to remove the "allow telemitry" from the regestery to resolve the issue. Now I have the ability to do previews, change the level of data sent to Microsoft and best of all, no errors in any part of settings. All is back to normal and all windows settings work, including "feedback and diagnostics.

Lasson learned I hope.
