Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using a Plugable USB 3.0 4K HDMI Adapter for Multiple Monitors that works well but have not been able to (on extend) mode) move a window to the 2nd monitor (a 4k monitor).  That is what I want to be able to do.  Even connecting the HDMI cable from the monitor directly to my hp Pavioion dv7 does the same thing, so it does nto appear to be my Plugable USB 3.0 4K HDMI Adapter that is causing the problem.

Found one site where it was stated that Uninstalled and re-installed vga adapter software fixed the problem but have been unable to do that on either of my hp computers!

Thanks for your advice.

In Windows 10,  right click on an empty spot on the desktop.  Pick "Display settings" from the popup menu and then indicate what you see.
