When requesting assistance, please provide the complete HP model name and/or product number of the computer in question.
Most HP AIO and TouchSmart computers do not have video output ports of any kind (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) Some HP AIO and TouchSmart computers do have a HDMI input for use with video players and game consoles but this is strictly an input and doesn't provide a video signal for use with an external display. To use an external display with your HP Envy 23 will most likely require a USB-to-video adapter, such as the eVGA UV Plus+ UV19, UV39, or a similar device from another brand.
