P7-1071-sc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I just bought a new display with 2560*1440 resolution and find out that my display card HDMI port could not get that resolution.

GeForce GT530 (OEM) specification says that digital resolution is 2560*1600, but it didn't work.

My new display had only display port and HDMI connections so I cannot use that DVI connection anymore.

Can anyone suggest a new display card which is working with this computer and it has minimum 2560*1440 resolution. (p7-1071sc)

@Aku73, welcome to the forum.

I checked with StarTech who has very good products to see if they have an DVI-I to DP adapter that would provide that resolution.  They don't have anything at this time.  However, here are two options that you can research:

Athavan: Unfortunately, we do not have a DVI-I to DP/HDMI that supports that resolution. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We do however have a USB 3.0 to 4K HDMI External Multi Monitor which will work at 2560x1440 @ 30 Hz

Furthermore, we do have a USB-C to HDMI Adapter which also supports 2560 x 1440

Eitherof them should do what you need and cost less than a new video card.
