I was hoping the Windows 10 Creators Update would fix the issue but sadly it doesn't.
I have bought my monitor this january 2017 brand new from BestBuy and I was really proud to get an HP because they are generally good products. It was shipped with HP My Display to enhance the calibration of the monitor. I have tried many possibilities to install drivers first then drivers after, Nvidia drivers before and after, safe start, even with only this HP My Display app with the system but sadly it doesn't works, always quit inexpectedly. I have called HP and a tech assistant told me 3 months ago they would check and update the drivers and that MyDisplay app. Today, I have checked those date beside each driver on HP drivers site and it still says 2015, 2016. My computer is an Envy 700-349 running Windows 10 with everything updated and I have to work without those useful apps shipped with the monitor. It let me an aftertaste of HP support really sad. Why selling products that we accept to pay more to get a trusty brand if they are not really superior after all. I have received an automated post from a tech pro from HP with a suggestion to update my OS and ask me to give him/her thumbs up for his/her reputation. Sorry guys but you don't deserve it. If you work hard to build a reputation on HP, let me say you should work every aspect not only on new products because when we have to choose new products, the past experience counts when get new hardware.
