Just to be sure I understand. Is the resolution to this issue that the
HP ENVY Curved All-in-One - 34-a010 can not be used as a monitor with a laptop that had HDMI output using the HMDI in port on the all in one computer?

Hi @jeff_1959,

As I understand you are having issues with HDMI input with on another computer. I'll try my best to help you with this,
I did check and found that you cannot connect your All in one as a monitor. HP does not support or recommend using any 3rd party tools or apps to get it done either.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

You're wecome. 🙂
I did check again and think my colleague may have misunderstood your question.
The HDMI-in is to use the screen of your HP ENVY Curved 34-a010 All-in-One Desktop as an external screen to another computer. I suggest you to refer to the information from this link: HP Desktop PCs - Connecting Monitors and TVs to Your PC (Windows 10, 8, 7)
Hope this helps. Keep us posted. Cheers!
