I purchased my HP all-in-one desktop at the end of November, 2016. It's been great so far, aside from getting used to the windows 10 formatting. Yesterday, I was working at my computer, walked away for less than an hour, and when I "woke" it back up there was a shadowy area in the bottom center of the screen. It appears as though a bulb has gone out, to give a better description. The information on the screen still shows up, but is shadowed in an arc around the center of the bottom, reaching nearly half-way up the screen. Is there any help I can get to fix this issue, or warrenty I might be able to claim?

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
As I understand you have a shadow orb at the bottom of the monitor,
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution, however, I need a few more details:
Do you know if the formatting was interrupted due to a power surge or thunderstorm as such?
While you answer that question, I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,
If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure and you will need to Contact HP to replace or repair the LCD,
However, if it doesn't show up in the BIOS, it would confirm a software issue and we'll need to reinstall or update the display drivers using the Official HP Website: Click here.
Keep me posted,
If I have helped you resolve the issue, feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below,
Followed by clicking on "Accept as solution" from the drop-down menu on the upper right corner,
Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum. Have a great day!

I was able to access the BIOS screen upon restart and the shadow orb was not there. Also, over the past few days, it has been coming and going, not always showing at the bottom of the screen. Should I click on the link to reinstall windows?

Hi @Kelly881, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @Riddle_Decipher, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Thanks for the reply and checking the display in BIOS.
As the display is not visible in BIOS, recommend you to backup your data and perform as recovery and check.
Have you created a recovery kit for your computer?
Please refer to this HP Article for assistance in performing recovery on your computer.
Keep me posted.
