HO Pavillion 20-b313w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is a small gray exclamation mark in the upper left of my monitor screen.

It is persistent at the same position and same size no matter what program is running.

It does not appear on a screenshot.

Hi,

To isolate this issue, can you try connecting the PC to a different monitor. Kindly refer the document below for info on the same.

 https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05348091 (Link Updated 05/01/2017)

Check if the exclamation mark shows up even on a different monitor. If it does not show then it could be an issue with the monitor you have already connected.
