Product: HP ENVY 27in ips monitor

I have a HP ENVY 27 IN IPS monitor that keeps turning off or goes to sleep then dispays VIDEO ERROR MESAGES or no video input . Any idea what maybe causing this issue? thank you

Something might be overheating.  You could download and install the SIV software to check if this is happening:

Tks I will try that the strange thing is that 2 friends have the same monitor and they have the same issue

Could that mean that model of monitor has a built-in defect?
