Hi,

Welcome to HP Support Forum. Win Live Movie maker is not a software product from HP but I believe you can. Please try the following suggestion:

I do not use movie maker but isn't there a place to choose an export file type?  Choose H264 or MP4 instead of burn to DVD if there are no choices for DVD-9.  Then use something else, such as AVStoDVD,  to burn to either DVD-9 or a single DVD        ( DVD-5 )
