Product: HP TouchSmart Pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just bought my laptop and i tried to do a factory reset and there is no option for one. I have tried F8 and F11. I am running Windows 7 and i have 41 updates and it keeps saying error. I sure hope someone can help

If you are having problems with updates, I suggest you follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10164/fix-windows-update-errors

 

If you are unable to access the Recovery Partition, you can contact our phone support to order the Recovery Media

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
