M1136 installation just hanging, I have the disc but still just hanging saying installing. Left it overnight and still there

Thanks for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you are having issues installing the printer software. I would like to help.
I would uninstall and reinstall the printer software.
Immediately after connecting the USB cable, follow the steps in this document: A Fatal Error Displays During Software Installation.
This should resolve this error message.
