Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Hello...

I have been looking at the hp deskjet 7510 a3 3in1 printer, I have no idea whether it's a laserjet or inkjet... my knowledge is limited.

I want to get this printer as soon as, while its on offer and before I spend the money on less worthwhile things (lol), so if someone could help me out with my query asap I'd be so grateful.

I want to print designs on iron on transfer paper so I can print onto t-shirts, the only thing is, as I look into the hp printer support forums, it states that on certain printers this could damage them because of the heating elements... but I've spent hours now searching the net as to whether this particular printer model (that I'm quite set on) has heating elements, as the forums I was browsing gave a few examples of the models that you shouldn't use which had similar names...

So I'd just like to make sure really... I'd rather a printer that I can use for the iron on transfer paper as well as general printing... and this printer appears to be on a great deal at the moment...

HP Recommended

All the Deskjet and Photosmart printers are Inkjet printers, and do not have heating elements.  Is the printer you are looking at the Officejet 7510 or the Photosmart 7510?  Both of these are Inkjet printers.

Ok, thanks for going out your way to help me out...

I'm nother 100 percent as on some reviews it has stated that it's photosmart, which may be different versions of the model (?) all I know is that it's an deskjet, which I wasn't sure if was a play on words or not...

The model you are looking at is an Officejet 7510.  It does not have any heating elements and should work fine with iron on transfer media. 

 

Deskjet is an HP brand of inkjet printers, this model is a desktop printer but not a Deskjet.
