Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

Installed a new black cartridge last week, wouldn't work, got "bad cartridge" error messages.  replaced today; printed a "good" alignment page.  And that's the last thing its printed.  Not getting any "cartridge" error messages, not getting any messages at all.  And its showing 3 documents waiting, which is correct.  Please help!

This looks like an issue with the printhead. 

 

Please Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

To better assist you - 

 

1) Are you able to make a copy? 

2) Are you experiencing the same issue while making a copy as well? 

 

While you respond to that, try the steps mentioned in this document

It won't copy either; and I'm having a devil of a time trying to get "tied in" to be able to reply to you.  thanks for the response, any suggestions?

I turned off the computer that night as I always do.  When I got up yesterday morning,it was working fine, and still is today.  The greblims gave me a break, I thank them!
