I've had this HP Photosmart Premium Fax All-in-One Printer - C309a since October 2011. I recently moved and it will NOT print on my **bleep** wireless network although ALL the network reports say it's connected. It connects via Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth signal will not reach the upstairs office. I can not move the printer because the phone jack in on the main floor.
I'm using an Apple Maintosh MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7.4.
I have two wireless networks to choose from: one using a Linksys E1000 wireless router or a Netgear ADSL2+ Modem Router supplied by Frontier Communications. I have tried connecting to either network with NO success!
I have re-configured the printer using the Multifunction USB set-up.
I've restarted.
I've reset - EVERYTHING!!!!
The printer functions using the direct-connect USB cable (even with duplexing).
The print driver choices I have are: Photosmart C309a series [D2BEF5] which CONSTANTLY gives a "printer busy" error message. How am I SURE? There are NO OTHER JOBS BEING SENT TO THE PRINTER!!!
HP Tech upport is of NO USE because they say Apple is now supplying the print drivers.
What the hell is going on?????

Print a Wireless Network Test from the Network menu on the front of the printer. Does it indicate that it is connected to your network? Does the wireless radio PASS its self-test?
Having two live networks in your house can be very complicated unless you are very good with networking. If you want help, please describe how you have them configured.
Say "Thanks" by clicking the Kudos star in the post that helped you.
I am employed by HP
