L7680 2-Sided Landscape Oriented Copies Reversed

• Problem Description: When it comes to portrait orientated originals, I can make 2-sided copies using choice #4 (2<2 or 2-Sided Original < 2-Sided Copy) and getting the copies in the same orientation. But when I use it, choice #3 or choice #4, with a landscape oriented original, it reverses the second side so it's upside down. Now I must turn the original upside down to compensate.
  
  Is there a way around this besides taking the original out and turning it around?
  
  Please note: This is not a computer software driver issue. I am using the copier by itself without the computer on.
  
  
• Printer Model: OfficeJet L7680
• Operating System  OSX 10.6.8
• Connection Method - LAN
• Error messages - No errors

Hi Ericb007,

Thanks for the post and the great details on the issue.  With this one, I did find something very similar but it was related to the VISTA OS.  I've included a link below, special note to "step four'.  Identical symptoms, but your situation is standalone.  The second link walks through the two sided printing process, a good reference point.  Check these out and if the problem persist, I would like to try to reproduce on a test machine.  Keep me posted.

Sorry, this printer died. But HP helped me replace it with the 8600 and recycle the 7680. Thanks everyone.
