Scam to make you buy more ink  I will never buy another. Buyer Beware

This is not true...the OfficeJet 6700 CANNOT PRINT IN BLACK if any of the cartridges are empty. NO workarounds! I just got off the phone with HP now, and after talking to three different levels of tech support, the resounding answer is NO, YOU CANNOT PRINT A SIMPLE BLACK AND WHITE LETTER if any one of the cartridges (magenta, yellow or cyan) are empty. CRAP printer! DON'T BUY ONE!

I have the Envy 4500 (cartridge being able to be used when the other is empty is why I bought it).

I am runnig out of black ink.  How do I print in color now?  Can I also do it the other way around?

Thanks.
