Hi @j3451,
I understand you want the input voltage range for the audio input. This information should be available in the User Guide, If it's not available, I'm afraid we don't have any information available.
Alternatively, you can try this video which helps to convert the record to digital - Click here (The above link is 3rd party and is not owned by HP, I've posted this only so that I may help you resolve this issue by going beyond by support boundaries, please ignore the ads and take only the free/available suggestions) .
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with your and I hope you have a good day ahead.

Welcome to HP Forums,
this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

As I understand you want information regarding the audio mic.
I did a bit of research and found that the laptop supports both stereo array as well as a monaural microphone. For more information, please go to the support website for 'Maintenance and Service Guide' - Click here
I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance, I'll be more than happy to help you.

Thanks for your help.I am trying to convert some old LP's to digital. I was wondering if you can tell the input voltage range for the audio input? I think I will need an audio preamp to up the output from a phono magnetic cartridge.
