HP Recommended
350 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 350 G1 uses DTS sound GUI and IDT High Definition Codec audio driver. Windows 10 update broke DTS gui and IDT driver.

Problems:

Master volume and HP speaker would volume would not set independently.

Music EQ settings had no affect on sound. (Audio enhancements setting for music/movie/voice all worked still, just not music EQ)

GUI software would crash when selecting "Reset to default".

Fix: Step 1Had to uninstall IDT Audio through control panel.

Step 2 Download SP65196 and install, which reinstalls driver and software.

Step 3: Goto Device Manager, select Sound, Video and Game controllers>IDT High Definition Audio Codec>Right Click>Update Driver software>Browse my computer>Let me pick>Select IDT High Definition Audio Codec and then hit next.

This worked until Windows Aniiversary Update. Found myself back in the same spot with the same original problems noted. Tried the same fix but this time it did not work. Tried multiple times, tried repairing .net that was updated with anniversary update. Tried other drivers. Tried clearing out temp folder, tried reinstalling from IDT software folder, tried reinstall from temp folder. Tried older driver, tried drivers not associated with model. No success.
