Product: HP Elite Book 1031 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 

Audio muting  by itself on HP Elite Book
The F5 and F8 buttons turn themselves on which mutes the aaudio sounds and the microphone. I've been unable to turn them back on by pressing the Fn key as it won’t work. (The Fn keys do work for other commands).

I have had to reset/restart the laptop a number of times to correct the issue but it will randomly happen again - frustrating! 

There was a recent HP update on my laptop so I am not sure if this has casued the problem.

Any solutions are most welcome.
