When I click on the Bang & Olusen  audio, it says fails to create a conexant audio factory.

Try reinstalling the audio software package on the following link.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73001-73500/sp73189.exe

 

When the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.

Did you upgrade/downgrade your machine ? Normally you should see something similar to the following image
