Product: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As the laptop has only one audio jack, I'm using a converter to connect my headset to the laptop (I have checked and it is the correct type of converter). While the audio goes through it, the laptop doesn't actually show it to be connected anywhere (mic or output is not shown to be connected at all).
