I understand Apple bought Beats from HP, which explains the change in audio solutions.  However, out of all professional-grade and consumer-grade PA systems, mixers, surround sound audio/video receivers, stand-alone hardware, computer hardware, and computer software I've used, this post-Beats solution has more malfunctions than anything I have used for the past twenty-two years!  For example, if you adjust multiple equalizer bands at once and/or bass, treble, and dialog at once, more automatic adjustments are taking place besides the specific ones I make.  I don't know if this is a hardware or software issue, but I get the same results with the ENVY 17T-N100 and OMEN 17T-W000 laptops/notebooks.

Thank you for replying,

I'm glad you've gone through those steps,

And I'd appreciate if you could perform all of the suggested steps, including the installation of the equalizer as it should resolve the issue with the Annoying static,

If the issue persists, you may try a headphone or an external speaker and check if the left-channel works properly.

If the issue doesn't occur on the external devices but persists on the internal speakers, its a hardware malfunction and you need to contact HP, otherwise, simply create a new user profile and check if that works.

Specificly, I get the same results with the M9X67AV and V8B54AV notebooks.  When I uninstall the Realtek driver and software via "Programs and Features," the internal speakers and headphones (audio out jack) become two separate devices and I get an annoying subaudible static out of the left channel when using the audio out on the V8B54AV notebook.  So when I want to use headphones or external speakers connected to the headphone/audio output, I install the Realtek driver and software.  When I want to use the internal speakers, I uninstall it as I just described.

@Chris138

Thank you for the update,

I appreciate your time and efforts,

I'm not sure if you've followed all the steps mentioned in the link I had shared,

If you are unable to uninstall the drivers, perhaps you can disable them both and then follow the steps mentioned on the link to resolve this concern,

I would appreciate if you could let me know what happens after you've completed the steps suggested,

Awaiting your response for further assistance,

I did as discribed in the link you shared.  I went to "Device Manager">"S"Sound, Video, and Game Controlers," right-clicked "Realtek," disabled it, updated the driver to "Hi Definition Audio Device," restarted the computer, and the internal speakers worked fine, but I got that annoying subaudible left-channel static via the audio out/headphone jack.  I never installed that equalizer from Sourceforge.
