HP Elite x2 1012 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new HP Elite x2 1012 G1, this product "features" Bang & Olufsen speakers, it even has it plasted on the screen, yet I can hardly hear any sound at full volume.

I have done a recovery, but no change.

Runing Windows 10 (as it came with)

Can anybody help or is it just a bad product?

ok

its allright as it can be either driver related issue or software issue and can easly be solved ,just try these steps.

first restart your pc and leave it undisturbed for 4 to 5 min then open HP SUPPORT ASSISTANCE and select the option check for updates and if an update is available install it.

After this rechek if this solves problem, if not then simply go to device manager and look under audio options and check for latest update by right clicking on that driver and select update option. this will probably solve the problem/

If not let me please know earlier when you were happy with the sound quality and if after doing all the above mentioned thing not solves your problem it may be because of B&O software and you can change these settings in going to the software and setting to hp reccomended.

Good luck, it ay solve your problem and if not feel free to write.

Thanks for your advice, it hasn't made any difference though. I think it just doesn't have very good speakers.

I agree. These speakers are awful.
