HP Recommended
ProBook 645 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem description: About 50% of the time when restarting the laptop, a POST Error is shown that must be acknowledged.

"POST Error
Post Configuration Change Prompts
300-Configuration Change Warning
The storage device configuration will be updated to the following:
Disk: 256GB - SanDisk SD7SN6S-256G-1006
Optical: hp DVDRW GUD1N
Press ENTER to continue"

Occasionally (twice in 3 days now), the laptop fails to display an image after rebooting, about 1 minute later the fans kick on to full speed, and it persists in this state until powered off.
Troubleshooting steps taken: To resolve the second issue I had to hold the power button off before restarting. I'm unable to update the BIOS from the support website or directly via network connection. The website shows the following:

"Not the product you are looking for? If you cannot find your product on this site, go to HP Support Center - Hewlett Packard Enterprise .
Downloads for this product are not available through this website.

For Enterprise products you may find US-English downloads at the HP Software Depot.
For HP Home and Home Office products, visit HP Customer Care.
If you need additional help, you can contact your local HP representative for information on the specific update methods available for this product."

Searching the Enterprise productions website by Product Number (V1P77UT#ABA) and Serial Number, the ProBook 645 G2 is also not present:
https://h20565.www2.hpe.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/selector/?javax.portlet.tpst=8...

Trying to update BIOS via network connection using HP.com and automatic network settings shows the following error:
"Network BIOS Update
Failed during data transfer (the resource referenced in the URL does not exist)."

The file download appears to start, but then fails with the error. Is there a custom URL I could try, or is there no newer version? It is a new laptop model.

Current System BIOS Version: N77 Ver. 01.00
Current BIOS Release Date: 11/26/2015
Most Recent Update Check: 05/20/2016

Both the UEFI BIOS Memory and Hard Drive diagnostics completed successfully with PASSED.
