When I boot, the caps lock and num lock LEDs flash 5 times, 5 times. But then boots normally and runs Windows 7 without error and with no issues in Device manager. I have reset bios, discharged CMOS, and updated to the latest bios. Any ideas?

Yes, it would seem to indicate a system board failure. But the unit will eventually boot (after 5 sequences of 5 flashes. 35 flashes total). I find it hard to believe it would boot if the system board is bad.

Just by happenstance, I have found a workaround. If I have a flash drive in ANY USB port at boot the issue does not occur. Legacy USB is not enabled and USB boot is not enabled. Not a solution, but a weird workaround...
