Product: an000na
Operating System: Linux
In ACPI, the DSW method is documented as requiring 3 paramters, but on this laptop, with the latest BIOS, the ACPI appears to expect only 1 parameter. This causes problems with the linux kernel ACPI implementation. See http://www.uefi.org/sites/default/files/resources/ACPI_5_1release.pdf
The full problem is logged here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191511
Could a HP engineer provide feedback? What does windows do? What is the expected behaviour? Is it possible to get a new BIOS to fix this?
Another HP model is also listed in the bug report with the same behaviour.
Thanks
