HP 2170P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a HP2170P from Ebay. It was likely an off lease model. It works fine.

I added RAM and upgraded the wifi card to AC. I  added Windows 10 pro, clean install. The included 180GB SSD drive tested as like new.  It's like a new laptop.

My question:

On the way I noticed the bios had Admin and Guest accounts. Admin was password locked but Guest was open and had most, if not all, settings available. I made a few changes and all works well.

One setting on Guest states something to the effect of 'Reset All Bios Security Settings'.

What does that Guest security setting mean? Will it reset Admin to factory defaults? Will it wipe the drive as a security feature for making the reset?

Thanks.
