Product: HP NC4200
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
HP NC4200 /WinXP - The BIOS has a Power-On lock. When attempting to power on, it yields "Power-On Password" with a symbol of a "key" in a white trimmed blue box in the center of a black background. No inputs are printed on screen. It must be a single keystoke or a short combination. I don't know which BIOS this model has, but I inadvertently set it myself thinking it would bypass the System PW instead. If I press a key nothing happens until I press the Enter Key and it has yielded only a Key symbol with an 'X' in the center of it. It is an older laptop and the Sys Password is no longer remembered.
