Product: Probook 4520s
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I'm trying to update my BIOS. I have downloaded the update for my HP notebook from the HP website and installed it.
When I run the HP System BIOS Update Utility and select Create Recovery USB flash drive, the drive is detected but I get a format error. I have tried numerous USB sticks of various sizes. All fail the format step.
As a result of the failure to format, the USB is unreadable, ans must be reformatted via the Windows format command.
My best guess is that although the HP System BIOS Update Utility installs and runs, it may not be compatible with Windows 10.
