I just happen to go through the BIOS and noticed that by default the BIOS has been set not to report the battery time left (e.g. displaying 9hrs and 52 misn left)
Is there any particular reason that this reporting has been disabled in the BIOS?

@V-2, thanks for the response.
By default, older windows operating system showed only the percentage of the battery and it did not show remaining time left with the battery.
So you have to manually enable it in BIOS to get the remaining time left with the battery.
Refer this document for more information.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a wonderful day ahead!:)

Hi! @V-2, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand that BIOS is not set to report the battery time left on your PC.
BIOS does not have this feature this is a windows feature and it can be viewed only in windows.
Hope this answers your query!
