HP Recommended
Product: HP Envy 13-d008na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We are interested in buying a couple of HP Envy 13, either to 13-d008na or 13-d007na model, however we need full disk encryption on them. Both laptops come with Windows 10 Home and TPM but im not sure what options there are for encryption as BitLocker doesnt work on Home Edition.

 

My questions...

 

1) Is the SSD in both models self encrypting so that a HDD Password would encrypt the drive?

 

2) Does any HP software come with them so encrypt the drives?

 

Any other ideas welcome?
