HP Recommended
Product: Elitebook 8760w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

ELitebook will not power on while the battery is installed. When pressing the ON button the charging LED will blink 8 times. When I remove the battery and unplug the adaptor, AND after I hold the ON button down for several seconds THEN plug in the adaptor without the battery installed the laptop will  boot normally.
