As above the laptop is not booting up, the hard drive is not being detected and everything is wiped. I still have warranty can I send it off to be fixed?

If your PC has an active warranty, you can send it to HP for repairs. You can contact support via chat option here > https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

and follow the steps to diagnose and attempt to fix the issue on your own.
