OMEN 15.6"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP Omen Laptop with genuine Windows 10 (64bit).

I intend to install a secondary operating system (e.g. Red Hat Linux) on the same machine in a different partition/harddrive. My question is thus two-fold,

1. Is it possible to have the secondary OS installation on the same machine without affecting the genuine windows and its setting and all.

2. If I ever need to run the recovery on my Machine, will that be affected by the this secondary OS installation ??

Please if anyone can help me out to understand this problem. Also if its possible and no harm is expected, then please can you guide me how can I accomplish this task i.e. installation of secondary OS on the OMEN machine with an existing Windows 10 (which is pre-installed btw)

Try not to make a hard life even harder by overthinking 🙂
