I have an HP probook, running windows 764bit. About 2 years old, no simialr problem up until now but today I restarted it and got an error message in the upper left hand corner, in red, which read ME UNLOCK FORBIDDEN IN PRODUCTION MODE. I am a student and I need my laptop for my studies, as all my summer classes are online. What is the quickest way to solve this problem. I've heard that there is a disk which can be used to unlock the system. Anyhelp would be great as this sort of screws me.
Thanks
