Product: Elite book 745
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

Hi my daughter's elite book was updating when it was switched off, now on power up i get the window icon and the circle of dots then a flash of a box at the top 1/2 of the screen then it says restoring from a previous version goes dark and then repeats this cycle over and over. I've tried f11 the computer just beeps. I can't seem to get to any Windows screen to get it safe mode, please does anyone have an idea what I can do? Many thanks
