Hello!

 

We are experiencing long start-up times from our new HP Mt42 laptops.
The thin clients are configured from the HPDM (HP Device Manager), where i made an image from one the laptops which i configured for our company.

The start-up time till the thin client is 'ready to use' is 90 seconds. I think that is way too long for a thin client.

The longest part in the start-up is when the HP Logo is on the screen, and the rotating dots appear. It stays there for about 30 seconds. After that, the screen turns black for about 10 seconds. Then the standard User account is loading which takes 20 seconds. Then the Thin client needs about 30 seconds to Start-Up the standard HP Tooling, UWF etcetc..

Any recommendations to make the boot time shorter?
