Hello community
I recently bought an hp notebook 850 g3, in order to set and run linux on it
the problem is that i didn't find the "Customized Boot” path in the UEFI pre-boot graphical environment.
Even after updating the bios the the latest version (1.13)
Due to the fact that HP hard coded the paths for the OS boot manager in their UEFI boot manager to \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi to boot Microsoft Windows,
how can I change the default boot path

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Sorry, but this is just a community self-help forum staffed by volunteers helping folks with MS Windows-related problems.
HP only warranties their PCs for use with the original OS that comes preinstalled on the PCs. When you replace that or add a different OS, you then assume full responsibility for maintaining that PC.
UEFI presents special challenges to installing a Linux distro on the newer laptops, see here for some information: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2147295
For support with Linux issues, your best approach is to post in the support forum of the Linx distro you are going to use.
Good Luck
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
