Product: 15r-007tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to reinstall my BIOS. Bun in HP official website there is no BIOS for windows 10. Actually i am facing a battery related issue. "86% available(pluged in, not charging)".

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

By your comments, I'm presuming you must have Upgraded your laptop to Win10 from a prior OS, and NOW, you want to run a BIOS update on it, right?

 

Sorry, but that's not possible now you have done the Upgrade to Win10.

 

HP makes their BIOS updates OS-version specific, and since you have Upgraded, any attempt to run an older BIOS update is going to error out and fail to run.

 

You should have done the BIOS update before you did the Upgrade.

I have both windows 8 and 10 in my laptop. Actually I can reinstall the BIOS by entering windows 8. But I actually wanted to do it in windows 10. Anyway thanks for support. HP must make a BIOS for windows 10.
