Hi!  First time on this message board.  I am having trouble booting up my 8460P laptop.  I bought it refurbished off of a lease.

 

I am having trouble booting it up.  The display shows on the left press the ESC button to boot  and on the lower left it shows a green icon resembling a wiring spool and a plug also shows.

 

I have to turn the machine off and after several attempts to boot it up, the computer will boot.  I really like this computer and am wondering if this problem can easily be corrected.

 

Thank you for any assistance that you can give me.
