Product: Probook 650 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Recently I noticed that the amber LED on my HP Probook 650 G1 flashing constantly, even when the laptop is powered off. The System Tray battery indication is 100%, fully charged, when on AC power and 100% on battery power shortly after undocking. I find the Probook won't power up if AC power is not available (no response when pressing power button) but remains powered when I remove it from the docking station. Have the electronics that control this LED flashing and power up when not on AC gone bad? Is this an indication of other failure?
thanks
