Hi,

I understand you but the videos are just an example depending on if your device has removable or fixed battery - yours is with fixed as visible in the Service and Maintanence guide http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04491166.pdf

I cannot find related videos for Windows based tablets.

You can try with removing the battery (page 28, 26) and re-inserting it back in.

If you are not sure comfortable doing it or not willing to do it on your own, check with the HP Authorized Service Center.

Hello,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome !

I am not familiar with an HP product called "surface" or "Surface "- there is a Microsoft tablet known as Surface, not HP one.

HP has Elite tablets, Specter x2 , x360 ...  You may need to clarify the exact product you own.

Please, review this general HP article about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:

If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one. Here is more info:

Hope this helps !

If you did follow all the steps mentioned in the article above, you need to bring the computer for a service at authorized HP service center. The technicians there will be able to assist you.
