Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is a first post for me.  The choice of boards is a bit confusing.  I expected to find a Notebook General category.  This computer does not lock up.  My question refers to the Spectra 360 I purchased for my not-so-patient wife.

 

When the computer boots up or wakes up from sleep mode it often does so in the "touch screen" mode rather than the mechanical keyboard mode.  I'd like for her to be able to positively select the keyboard like some sort of toggle routine between keyboard and touch screen.  I don't want to completely disable the touch screen.  She has very little use for the touch screen.  

 

I wish I'd bought a computer wiht the performance of the Spectre 360 but without touch screen.
